Will the kiosk work in countries with a different power requirements?

Yes, we can ship kiosks to countries that require a different Volt power.

Can the kiosk function without an internet connection?

No, the kiosk cannot function properly without an internet connection if it is credit card based. We recommend that every kiosk be connected to an always on internet connection with a minimum bandwidth. But, the connection needs to be always on.

Whose responsibility is it to get the kiosk connected to the internet and making sure that all the right ports are opened etc?

It is your responsibility as the owner of the kiosk to make sure that you work with your ISP or the local network administrator where your kiosk is located to make sure that the kiosk can access the internet. We can only provide some limited assistance in helping you get that setup.

Is software included with the kiosk?

Our kiosks comes with all standard software included for you, to be able to load the DVDs, input your rates, maintain your inventory , and manage the users.

Do any of your kiosks include the ability to rent using credit cards?

Yes, our kiosks include the ability to rent using credit cards.

How secure is online Credit Card payment? Is the credit card information safe ?

We use the most secure method of credit card transactions. Your credit card number is not stored locally and is encrypted in all transactions going to and from the bank.

Who handles the Credit card processing?

The DVD kiosk owner needs to setup his own account for payment gateway and merchant processing.

Which credit card processors are compatible with the kiosk?

Do any of your kiosks include the ability for the "On-line Reservations"?

Yes, our kiosks include the ability for the "On-line Reservations".

Can I also sell products from the kiosk?

Yes, if the "Buy button" on the screen has been enabled , that will allow users to buy any of the products in the kiosk.

What other products can be rented or sold from these kiosks?

You can rent or sell Game Discs, Blue-Ray Discs, DVDs, Book CDs from the kiosk. If it fits inside our slim plastic rental case, you can rent it or sell it on our kiosk. The software allows to manage different rental / sale fees from regular DVDs.

What technology is used to store the Discs?

A proprietary Robotics technology coming from Industry is used for storing the discs. The kiosks capacity can vary from 532 DVDs to 1662 DVDs.

What kind of labels do you use to identify the Discs?

The barcode labels are used for labeling the DVDs. You need one label per DVD.

Where can we buy the barcodes from?

The barcodes labels can be purchased from us directly in packs of 150 pcs.

What about those customers that don't have credit cards ? Can they not rent from your kiosks?

The owner of the kiosk gets to decide if they want to enable the "Rent By Membership Card" feature on the kiosks. This can allow customers to rent using a membership card. The membership card can be loaded with cash in many different ways.

Do any of your kiosks come with a cash reader installed?

Yes, a kiosk can be purchased with a cash reader built in. This allows the customers to use bills to pre-load or re-load their prepaid Membership cards.

Can a membership card be loaded with a credit card too?

Yes, membership cards can be loaded with cash or credit cards.

How is the movie information downloaded onto the kiosk?

Movie information is entered online by the kiosk owner through a secure password protected webform. This information is only entered once. It can imported on all the kiosks owned by the same owner.

Can there be a limit set on number of movies that a member can have at a given time?

Yes, the owner of the DVD kiosk can decide as to how many movies can a member have out at a given time.

Who loads the Discs into the DVD Kiosk?

The owner or the operator of the DVD kiosk is the responsable for loading the Discs.

What happens to old inventory?

The owner or the operator can enable the kiosk to sell the used inventory.
